ABOUT
I am the Creator and Director of Fly High!: An original pop-rock superhero musical that shares an action-packed, uplifting story of Mexican heritage, belonging, and togetherness set in the windy city of Chicago. I began production of this musical in 2020 (in middle school) and have since developed it for five years. After 4+ drafts of the script, in both a stage and screenplay format, I received Semi-Finalist in the Orlando Film Festival (2023). I have also written/produced 13 original songs for the show in LogicPro and released an Official Concept Album to YouTube with singers from across the country in March of 2025.
However, what I am most proud of is my ability to advertise the musical. I primarily use social media outlets Instagram and TikTok to market my musical, and have created both graphic and video promotional content over the years including logo design, poster design, and short-form content and reels. I have also designed the website for Fly High! making it an easy space for viewers to learn about the musical, seamlessly locate information about auditioning, and easily track our Instagram and YouTube sites.
OBJECTIVES:

Increase engagement on social media and grow the Instagram account following from scratch (0 followers).

Increase view count on TikTok and drive traffic towards interactive musical content with original reels.

Receive auditions through advertisements on Social Media to create a cast for a Cast Album.
OUTCOME:

Grew audience by 850+ followers across all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Reels on TikTok accumulated to over 175k+ views and continue to increase over time.

Received enough auditions to create a stellar cast. Recorded and released the Cast Album in March 2025.

The logo was created to visually depict Fly High!'s powerful, bold, and vibrant themes and storyline within the musical. Its ombre colors and wind stroke in the background illustrate the character dynamics within the musical along with the heavy influence of wind as that is the protagonist's primary superpower. The logo is shared across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN
I advertise Fly High! across social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, but use Instagram most regularly for graphics. I have created various types of content for Fly High! spanning song announcements, cast announcements, behind-the-scenes footage, and audition information, while I executed an audition campaign to find a cast to record its Original Cast Recording of 13 songs. Along with design, I have also written all copy for all social media posts, aligning with Fly High!'s bold, adventurous brand identity.





SOCIAL MEDIA: AUDITION CAROUSEL
In order to develop the Original Cast Recording, I led and extended my audition campaign to cast one of the final members of our 6-member cast, Preston Rivera, after our previous actor had to leave the project. I created this "How to Audition for Preston Rivera" design and added all audition info and requirements to make it a straightforward process for those interested in auditioning.







SOCIAL MEDIA: AUDITION CAROUSEL
After executing an audition campaign for the Original Cast Recording and releasing this in March 2025, I led an additional audition campaign for the development of Gold: A New Musical Rendition in June 2025, which would feature a completely new and original 10-member cast for Fly High's song "Gold " in a pop style. I created this "Now Casting" design with a new logo for the recording and added all audition info and requirements to make it a seamless process for actors interested in auditioning.

AUDITION PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
While executing the audition campaign for the Original Cast Recording of Fly High! the musical, I created this short 1-minute promotional video, advertising the casting call and sharing more of the musical's storyline. I distributed this video across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube platforms and it has since gained over 1,500 views and engagement across these platforms.
